2. In a Zoom meeting on Tuesday this week the discussion will be on the role of Christian Leadership I have a 15-minute slot and hope to make some of these points in ways that respond to earlier contributions! Your thoughts on any of them today would be much valued:
Faith in ‘I Am/YHWH/God/Allah seeks and serves our witness to the integrity of all creation. It is basically about the priesthood [or rather situate chaplaincy] of all believers working for a society based on natural ecology that might seem like a far-off utopia—yet communities everywhere are already creating it, regardless of the nature/origin of their faith..
Institutions tend to regimentalise their participants and belittle the dignity and the potential of the humbler participants.
Servant Leaders, not hierarches that sustain differentials in standing and dignity.
The Trinity echoes the natural symbiosis of Planet Earth – that is the Interdependence of Intimate, Societal and Global perspectives
Religion – its provenance is that all laws and ligaments are held in their interdependence, their Prior Unity, nurtured in Tribal training grounds. Those training grounds must not become the essence.
Chaplaincy as the patient development of faith insights through case conscious dialogue in specific situations.
The vital creative tension at all times between both Pastoral sensitivity [local] and prophetic [universal/ Gaian/ Kin[g]dom of God challenges
Worship as periodically boosting community cohesion, but not failing in support of daily in situate chaplaincy. Honouring the sacred is not reserved for special occasions. We honour and try to witness to the sacred in every moment
Liturgy as a serialised training manual being secondary to daily discipleship, in the discipline of witness in every act.
3. Structural Changes Basic to an Eco-nomy: Usury; Theft of Commons; Institutional Drag.
Let’s be frank – if we don’t face up to and abolish Usury, Theft of the commons and the anti-evolutionary rigidity of Institutionalism, then cries for justice, peace and the common good are but wishful thinking.
QUANTUM PHYSICS and THE THEOLOGY EXPRESSED WITHIN ITS INSIGHTS is a FRESH VIEW OF THE CREATIVE FORCE upon which ALL FORMS OF LIFE DEPEND.
The Quantum/Mystic/Indigenous paradigm of universal symbiosis, makes such externals as paradise, heaven and hell, entirely inadequate as aspirational myths.
